Combining a safari in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania offers the best of East Africa’s biodiversity, culture, and iconic experiences:
Uganda is home to the rare mountain gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, chimpanzees in Kibale, and the dramatic scenery of Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Kenya is renowned for the Masai Mara, its vibrant cultures, and incredible wildlife densities — especially during the Great Migration (July to October).
Tanzania offers the legendary Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and idyllic beaches on Zanzibar for a relaxing end to your journey.
By combining all three, you unlock a panoramic safari experience that spans lush rainforests, volcanic craters, savannahs, lakes, and tropical coastlines.
Our team at Uganda Horizon Safaris specializes in multi-country safari planning. We take care of everything — including regional flights, border crossings, park permits, transport logistics, and lodge bookings — so that you can focus on enjoying your adventure.

To cross the border from Tanzania to Kenya, you will need the following documents and items:
Do I need a new visa to return to Kenya after the safari in Tanzania?
You will not need an additional visa to return to Kenya. Once your visa has been approved, it will be valid to re-enter the country after your safari in Tanzania. You only have to make sure that the duration of safari does not exceed your visa. In other words: Apply for a visa that matches for your return flight. For example: If you arrive in Nairobi on June 15, you can travel to Tanzania on June 20, go on safari in Tanzania for some days and return to Kenya on June 25. You will not need an additional visa for that.
Do I need a new visa to return to Tanzania after a safari in Kenya?
Officially, you will need an additional visa. If you have started your trip in Tanzania, then crossed to Kenya, and then travel back to Tanzania, you will need to apply for a new visa to enter Tanzania. From our experience though, you don’t have to apply for a new visa before. From many clients we have the experience that the visa was simply extended. And even if that is not possible, you can simply purchase a new visa at the border which only takes a few minutes. So in any case: You don’t have to apply for a new visa before.
Conclusion:
Combining a Kenya Safari and Tanzania Safari is the ultimate way to experience the wonders of African wildlife. With Tanzania Horizon Safaris as your trusted guide, you can seamlessly navigate these remarkable destinations, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
