Early morning pickup from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe by your Uganda Horizon Safaris driver-guide.
Scenic 5–6 hour drive westwards through the rolling hills and tea plantations of Fort Portal.
Lunch stop en route at a recommended local restaurant.
Afternoon arrival at Kibale Forest National Park.
Guided community walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary – a birdwatcher’s paradise and home to monkeys, butterflies, and colorful flora.
Evening relaxation at the lodge overlooking the forest canopy.
Overnight: Isunga Lodge / Turaco Treetops / Chimpanzee Guesthouse (your choice of comfort level)

Early breakfast and transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for your chimpanzee tracking briefing.
Embark on an exciting chimpanzee trek into the rainforest with experienced rangers. Spend a memorable hour with a habituated troop of wild chimpanzees – listen to their calls, observe their play, and witness their remarkable behavior.
After tracking, enjoy a short refreshment break.
Begin the drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving by early evening.
